Studio Inma Bermúdez Spain
Studio Inma Bermúdez, with over 15 years of experience, engages in projects of diverse scope, ranging from mass-produced items to unique pieces, from high-end to low-price options, and from traditional craftsmanship to pure industrial design. They’re extremely passionate and dedicate the same enthusiasm, love, and know how to each project, as each commission is equally significant to them.
Always ready for fresh opportunities, the duo embraces new challenges with enthusiasm, considering them chances to apply knowledge across disciplines and to be a constant source of learning and inspiration. The studio takes pride in collaborating with clients worldwide, who trust them to infuse a unique and innovative vision into their projects.
They are recognised with numerous national and international design awards, including the most prestigious prize “Premio Nacional de Diseño” awarded in 2022 by the Spanish Ministry of Innovation and Design, making Inma the third and youngest woman to receive this honor in the history of the awards.

The Workshop
Once upon a time, in the summer of 2009, Inma and Moritz found love at Boisbuchet and started a life together. They built their family with two kids and a design studio at the Mediterranean coast in Spain, but…
What if they would have chosen Boisbuchet as their permanent place - using today's know-how at hand? How would they have developed in this particularly natural environment, embracing its inherent limitations and possibilities? What home, attire, and sources of entertainment might shape their days?
As a participant of this workshop you are welcome to explore the magic corners of Boisbuchet, giving rein to your creativity with Notpla’s range of environmentally friendly semi-finished products made from seaweed. Your goal is to conceptualise no-waste products with a minimal impact on the surroundings.
Boisbuchet invites you together with Inma and Moritz to envision and design sustainable objects, tools, and utensils that are essential for a long-lasting living at this place.
