Exceptional visit of Norman Foster and Elena Ochoa Foster at Boisbuchet

Norman Foster, one of the most important architects of our times and winner of the Pritzker Price in 1999, is well know in France for having created, amongst numerous other buildings, the Carré d’Art in Nîmes or the Viaduc de Millau.

In 2017, he and his wife Elena Ochoa Foster established the Norman Foster Foundation with a mission to promote interdisciplinary thinking and research amongst new generations of architects, designers, and urbanists.

They both visited the Domaine de Boisbuchet for an exchange of ideas about shared projects. Much like Alexander von Vegesack, Norman Foster and Elena Ochoa Foster believe in the values of a holistic education that encourages to connect architecture, design, technology, and the arts through research and experimentation in the service of society.
