Material and territories investigation are at the heart of the studio.
Francisco Jaramillo was selected by Dwell Magazine as one of the 24 Best Designers of 2022. He received Wallpaper Magazine’s Best New Waves award in 2023, and that same year he was selected as one of the ten designers highlighted on Design Parade Hyeres 2023, with a Special Mention by IDEAT Magazine and a nomination on the Dezeen Awards, in the Environmental category.

The Workshop
What can we as designers do for nature?
Massive change of our planet is an evident reality: Global warming and the disappearance of species increase considerably every year, provoking reflection of our role as a species and action with corresponding measures.
While the choice of materials is one of the most important factors in design, knowledge about their extraction from nature has become crucial. As we've got used to creating for human benefit, what are we supposed to give back?
We want to invite you to a week of creation with nature and for nature. Our starting point is Boisbuchet's environment, where we'll reflect on ourselves, how to reward our ecosystem, and what our relationship with Earth will be like in the future.
Considering each place we inhabit, we'll look for a sustainable improvement of its context, beginning with observation, then trying to connect, identifying the means and matter for interventions and eventually building our contributions to this territory.
