Alice Moireau + Caroline Perdrix (FR) + TABLE (FR)
Sunday Lunch
July 7th – July 13th 2024
Alice Moireau has always been fascinated by the world of cooking and good products. After graduating in design at Estienne art school and in communications at Sciences Po Paris, Alice worked in New York as a food stylist, then in Los Angeles on the creation of a food show, before returning to France where she joined Le Fooding as an events producer. At the same time, a book of 60 recipes was published in 2021 by Éditions La Martinière and she launched her tableware brand TABLE in 2022. In July 2023, Alice opened Le Chalet Olivet, a wooden house built in 1862 on the banks of the Loiret river, which she decorated and renovated over a period of 1 year.
Caroline Perdrix, born and living in Marseille, textile and clothing designer, she studied at the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne school, and at Decorative Arts in Paris. After working in several houses in Paris and London, Caroline co-founded the responsible ready-to-wear brand; Atelier Bartavelle in 2013, the Itinérance association in 2018 and then the TABLE brand in 2021. Today she is leading several projects around textiles and education. Craftsmanship is at the heart of his work.

The Workshop
Since 2010, the French Gastronomic Meal has been part of France's intangible cultural heritage. This workshop invites revisiting the codes of the Sunday lunch - through vegetarian cuisine and the art of setting a disappointing table. It explores a reinvention of the codes associated with this traditional meal and interprets it by dusting it off, taking it out of its highly institutionalised framework.
Exploring textile techniques such as patchwork and embroidery, we’ll give new life to selected antique trousseaux and table linens in order to re-create tablecloths, napkins, and everything else needed to dress our table and those who eat at it, including aprons and bandanas. In the same spirit, we'll give a second life to faulty or second-hand Limoges crockery, echoing the regional heritage of this workshop’s location.
Our creative use of both these simple techniques shall lead to a collection made of old pieces that have been given a new lease of life and to new ways of eating, sitting, serving, welcoming, and sharing a meal.

TABLE France
TABLE is a tableware brand that offers products to create a colorful and joyful table. TABLE is also a global project, a playground to experiment creatively and also to simply have fun around tables.
The project will evolve collaborating with chefs, artists and craftsmen, into feasts and performances. TABLE products are useful and practical, made with responsible and qualitative sourcing. We only work with craftsmen or suppliers whose practices we know and whose know-how we valuate.
Alice and Caroline are passionate about l’art de la table and now want to share their vision. With TABLE the duo shares their love for playful tables reflecting their appetite for festive dinners, warm gatherings with friends and family.
Alice was born in a family where « art de la table » is a significant part of everyday life, each tableware had its own story. Her mother was a designer for Faïenceries de Gien, for Paola Navone and a textile designer for Designers Guild. As for her father, he was the cook in the house! All the table-stories that have surrounded her since her childhood have nourished a deep desire to make this subject her work, keeping at the center a very present notion of craftsmanship and know-how.
